Human Outreach Project	HOP Leadership Week 2 Week 2 will involve an intensive service project contributing to the development of the new orphanage site. Students will be challenged physically and mentally, working alongside local African skilled laborers constructing housing, agriculture sites, stables and corals, and learning spaces. Prior to beginning work each morning, students will participate in both didactic and interactive sessions learning about the health, environmental, social and economic challenges facing this rural Tanzanian community. Breakout discussions will draw on the accomplishments of the week prior, and reflect on individual vs. collective responsibility and leadership. Our goal is to stimulate dialogue, debate and discussion about how we can responsibly engage as global citizens, and how you each can contribute to a global society in which health is a fundamental human right and the environment is a collective responsibility.
